Don and Ginger purchased the ranch in 1992 after God lead them to Northwest Benton County. After making their home in Rogers for more than 20 years and raising their two daughters in town, their dream of living on a ranch had become a reality! Along with the ranch property, they purchased the Limousin herd and started with some great early bloodlines, and are working to improve on the Fullbloods and adding Purebreds as well.
In 2000, Ginger purchased eight fillys from Bill and Carol Smith of the WYO 7 in Thermopolis, Wy. to start raising ranch use horses. They are now ready, see them on the Horses Page.
Several years ago Don was lead to Wyoming, and he and Ginger divide their time between the two locations. In Wyoming, they run feeder steers and grow hay for resale on some 1300 acres.
Visitors are welcome any time to view the cattle and horses. According to our faith in Jesus Christ and our Father, we prefer to not conduct business on Sundays, but do welcome visitors to come and enjoy this part of Arkansas.
The Whitakers are dedicated to raising quality animals and doing business as they have been brought up to do: Treat every customer with respect and supply a quality product at a reasonable price with satisfaction guranteed. Several of their ranch born and raised cattle have won many local shows and several county fairs.
